Church unity allows for the diversity of its members. Diversity is richness. We cannot believe that in order to be united we must all be identical in every respect. Christ has given each one of us roles and gifts which are to be used to strengthen the Church body. Ephesians 4: 7 tell us that ‘to each one of us grace has been given’ and verse 16 reads “From Him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work”.
The Parish Life Commission is committed to extending a warm welcome to new parishioners and to the mutual support, care and fellowship of all in our parish family. We strive to promote a sense of belonging for every person who participates at St. Alphonsus.
The Commission is an umbrella for parish organizations and activities and gives them direction.
