Cantors
Cantors lead the congregation in sung prayer at weekend and holiday liturgies. Cantor Training and support is available by appointment. Whether you are an experienced singer or are seeking a way to support the community you love through song, Cantor Ministry is a volunteer ministry for all! Pianists and other instrumentalists
Do you play the piano? Maybe another type of instrument? Do you enjoy making music with others? Our community is always looking for new musicians to join us. If you’d like to offer your musical gifts in our community, please contact Kelly.
CHOIR IS BACK!!
No Experience is necessary to join the choir. The only requirements are a love of music and the ability to spread joy to those around you!! Everyone can perform Music! It is a skill that is acquired through time, dedication, risk taking, and practice. Our choirs are a safe place where all voices are welcome and cherished, no matter their experience level. Built on the foundation of community, our choirs are a safe place to grow your voice and take your love of music to new heights! St. Alphonsus Choir
This Mixed voice ensemble (SATB) for adults (ages 18+) rehearses Tuesday from 6:00-7:30pm in the Music Room and sings at least 1 time per month at the 10am Mass, as well as festival days as announced. Repertoire includes a broad range of traditional, contemporary, and world music.
Kerigma
This mixed-voice ensemble rehearses Saturdays at 12:00 and Sunday mornings at 11:00a in the Music Room, and sings weekly at the 12:30p Sunday Mass. Repertoire is primarily in Spanish, and comes from Latin American traditions. For more information, contact Kelly.
ST. JOSEPHINE BAKHITA CHOIR
This mixed-voice choir rehearses on Sundays from 11:30p-1:00p, and sings once a month at the 10:00a Sunday Mass. Repertoire comes from West and Central African traditions.
RESURRECTION CHOIR
This mixed-voice ensemble sings at any Mass of Christian Burial or Memorial Service, upon request by the bereaved. Rehearsal takes place immediately prior to the funeral, and attendance is flexible. For more information, contact Carol Vickery at cvickery.purple@gmail.com or 763-560-7375.
THURSDAY EVENING PRAYER GROUP
This mixed-voice ensemble rehearses in conjunction with the Thursday evening Spanish-language prayer group, and sings each week at the 6:30p Thursday Mass. For more information, contact us.
